Tokyo Monorail is a great alternative to Taxis, as it is a cheaper alternative as wel as helps with road congestions. Tokyo Monorail makes Haneda airport accessible to central cities in Tokyo and vice versa. The average price range is between 150 yen to 600 yen depending on the distance of travel.

Monorail Line: 13 mins from Tokyo Monorail Hamamatsucho station to Haneda Airport International Station on the Haneda Express.

It costs 490 yen for cash payments from any station from Haneda International Airport to the Hamamatsucho Station for the Monorail.

The first trains from Tokyo Monorail and Keikyu Railways arrive at international terminal around 5:15 and 5:30 respectively.

Tokyo Monorail covers a broader area of travel, with connecting stations to other railways at Hamamatsucho, Shinagawa, Nippori and more.

However, this railway is unaccessible at night and the early hours of the morning, thus not making it fully accessible at all times. The last train to depart is at 12 01 am and the earliest train starts 5 hours later at 4 59 am. The average interval between the trains are 4 minutes and can come as fast as 3 minutes 20 seconds during peak hours.

The Keikyu Railway is another option for passengers travelling to and from Haneda airport. The Keikyu Railway has 5 different train services (Local line, Airport Express, Limited Express(TOKKYU), Limited Express(KAITOKU) and Airport Limited Express).

Starting from the Local line and moving down the 5 services to the Airport Express, the Local line stops at every station on the map of the Keikyu Railways. The other services travel along the same map however they travel to lesser stops, descending in stops from Airport Express down to Airport Limited Express.

This gives the passengers options as to which trains they would like to take, depending on the stops that these trains stop at. The price of the Keikyu Railway is of similar range to the Tokyo Monorail.

Changi Airport - Taxis

Taxis to and from Changi Airport Singapore are the most convenient mode of transport that customers can take. Each specific terminal from terminal 1 to terminal 4 has its own dedicated taxi stand, usually located at the same level as the arrival halls. Due to Singapore being relatively small, taxis can conveniently take passengers to just about any location in the country in under an hour. Similar to Haneda airport, the convenience of taxis make it the most expensive mode of transport to and from Changi Airport.

Taxis in Singapore have an average starting fee of $3 to $3.50. There is a 50% increase of the overall meter fee from 12am to 6am due to the midnight surcharge. Passengers who use taxi services from Changi Airport Taxi Stands would have to pay additional fees of $5 from 5pm to 12pm everyday, and an additional of $3 at any other time.
